黒田泰蔵氏に師事
薄くひいているので軽くてとても扱いやすく、深みのある青みががった黒マット釉は落ち着いた佇まいをしています。
すでに亡くなっているということもあり、図録を眺めたり、作品を美術館で見て、やっぱりいいなあと思う事くらいしかできないと思っていました。けれど彼女の作品をじっくりと観察して、ひとつひとつなぞるように作る事で、彼女がどんなふうに器にむきあっていたのかを感じたり、亡くなった偉大な作り手と時間を越えて会話をすることができるのではないかと思い、ルーシー・リーへのオマージュ作品にも取り組んでいます。
