AKG Motorsport - BMW Front Subframe Engine Mount Reinforcements – E36, Z3These BMW E36, Z3 Front Subframe Engine Mount Reinforcement Plates weld onto the front subframe to reinforce the area around the engine mounts virtually eliminating the possibility of the motor mounts ripping out of the subframe. The front subframe engine mount attachment points are failure prone areas on the E36 and Z3, especially those that are swapped, tracked, and or raced. Cracks or bends are a bad sign.
