Mr. Claar is very active in the Catskill fly fishing community and recently donated two rods to the Catskill Fly Fishing Center and Museum (CFFCM). This is the first one we will be listing. Proceeds will directly benefit the CFFCM. Steve hand splits and planes his Tonkin cane and also machines his own duronze ferrules and the cap and ring reel seat hardware. This rod is based on a Paul
and warranty card
Reel comes with original blue Abel reel case
The reel seat is cork with a slide band and nickle silver pocket cap
Serial #561 on reverse side
