Phillipson Premium Model Fly Rod 8'6" 3/2 #6A nice Phillipson Premium" model Dry Fly Special bamboo fly rod, 86, 3 piece, 2 tip, and weighing 5 oz. Feels like it should throw a #6 line well. This rod was made in 1952 3, and was Phillipsons top of the line rod, first introduced 1947 8. It has the oft seen elliptical grip and the black anodized down locking reel seat. It carries their bright nickel silver ferrules, all of which fit snugly, and all sections are almost dead straight. The rod has
