Microstructure of Bone ModelThe Microstructure of Bone Model is a hand painted model that showcases a miniature piece of compact bone, roughly the size of a pinhead, significantly magnified at approximately 500 times its actual size. The model reveals one entire haversian system and a segment of two additional systems when viewed in cross section. It also features the gradual removal of lamellae at different depths, providing a step by step depiction.
