EC Powell Steelhead Fly Rod 9'6" 3/2 #7A semi hollow EC Powell fly rod, 9'6", 3 piece, 2 tip (one tip 2" short), built for what feels to me like a #7 line. Medium fast action. Weighs 5. 4 ounces on my scale. I would grade this as being in used fair condition with some areas that could use a little attention before being trotted out for more years of service. Ted Simroe recently re-wrapped the silks on the rod because even though the rod had seen little use over its long life

The keeper wrap is red and green jasper and all the rest of the wraps are gold-tan

The rod weighs 3 3/8 oz with a slightly lighter tip than the other Claar rod listed here

Excellent original condition with the exception of one tip being broken right at the tip top
