Agate stripping guide, blued cap and ring over a gorgeous wood spacer, full intermediate wraps, blued hardware, 5 1 2" tapered cigar grip, and hookkeeper. The rod is in near mint original condition. The rod weighs 3. 45 oz. Nice medium fast action.
The seat is finished off with an aluminum pocket cap and a bakelite button
There is one ding on the rim
The rod features a wonderful balance between finesse and power
Slight sets in the tips
A couple of dings on the edge of the frame
The 240cm length of this model makes it a more user friendly
and the rod comes with ferrule plugs
A nice refinished 214 Payne fly rod
German silver faceplate construction as well as the winding arm
For sale here is a stunning VR Design titanium fly reel - the 3" Prince George model
The spar varnish finish is as good as the day it left my shop
however one tip shows a 1” long seam
