Young Rod Co. for ~ 30 years (and also performed the role of babysitter for Paul Jr. and Jack!) Hazel's son also told me that the great Ted Williams would come in the PHY Rod Co. shop and watch Hazel tie flies. These tools come directly from the Johnson family and a letter from Hazel's son will be included with the sale.

The cigar grip measures 5 1/8" in length with a slight swell in the middle

Mechanically it remains in excellent condition

The seat is a varnished and mortised burl walnut

Bolt made a full length third tip and made a rod bag with four compartments

The owner was told by Sam that less than 10 6' rods were made making this one very rare indeed
