The reel has a grey agate lineguard which is unblemished. Stamped inside JWS 232. The reel is in near mint condition (most would call it mint) with the most minor handling marks. The reel has never been lined. Comes with a Hardy reel pouch as shown.

The rods have beautiful moderately tempered impregnated cane with chestnut wraps and bright guides

The handle arm is straight and does not contact the headplate while winding
