This rod is the most desirable eight foot length model that is intended for a 6 or 7 weight line. The rod weighs 4. 6 oz and includes a 17 64 ferrule on the second section, while most of these 8' Traveler models were made with a size 18 64 ferrule and the rods being intended for a 7 or 8 weight line.
