Orvis CFO III Disc Fly Reel 3"A nice Orvis CFO III Disc fly reel with dark gold finish. 3" in diameter. Excellent condition. Set up for left hand retrieve. Adjustable drag. Heavily ported along the sides as well as the frame edge. The prior owner has inked the line he used on the spool plate though I suspect it can be removed. Comes with the original Orvis zippered reel case. Ready to fish!

The first snake guide on the mid section is missing
The decals and script remain clean with the exception of the "F" decal on the butt
2/2 for a 5 weight (some like it with a DT4)
Blonde cane in a three up node pattern

For sale here is a Payne Parabolic bamboo rod in near mint refinished condition
Natural pot-bellied tight ferrules and lovely all-german nickel silver reel seat with hand soldered cap
A terrific rod for big flies or if the wind picks up
One of the tips was broken at the male ferrule and another tip was made by Orvis
No keeper on this rod
