HL Leonard Model 50DF Bamboo Rod 8' 3/2 #5For sale here is a near mint condition restored Leonard Model 50DF bamboo rod 8 feet 3 2 5wt. The rod was purchased by my customer in 1980 after Walt Carpenter restored it (I have the original Kruh price list). All sections are full length and straight. Beautiful classic red wraps. Downlocking reel seat with butternut insert. Includes original yellow cloth bag and original aluminum tube with brass fittings. Rod weighs 4 1 4 oz. Ferrule size is 10 15.

1 oz actual weight due the the exquisitely knurled uplocking reel seat hardware

the script remains clean and bold though the serial number on the butt is half worn off
No cracks or deep scratches in the hard rubber side plates
