Hang it above a sideboard, console or small bed where the eye lands at sitting height. Pair it with linen, oak, aged leather and stoneware in cream or clay. Plaster, warm white or a soft sage wall lets the bouquet breathe. Avoid

Best on a busier wall in a living room

rugs and timber finishes suddenly look intentional rather than accidental

the cream walls all stay where they are while the print adds a clear point of focus

or at the end of a hallway where it can be seen from the next room

The dark backdrop pulls the eye

lived-in feel to spaces that already lean neutral

The deep black feathers pop against soft petals in pink

so it doesn't need competition from busy patterns or other photography on the same wall

Cotton bedding in plain white or pale grey lets the print do the talking

Hang it where it can do real work — above a sideboard in the living room

The greens lift tired worktops and the warm browns soften white walls
