Description
Pachyman - At 333 HouseIn the spirit of classic Jamaican recordings of the late '70s and early '80s, Pachyman's sophomore record continues his ventures in dub and roots reggae. This time going further into the early Studio One sound, Sly & Robbie's steppers style and a bit of soul jazz reggae. Mixed using the techniques of Scientist and King Tubby, Pachy pays tribute to the sonic pallet of the dub masters themselves. Recorded in 2019 at his own 333 House studio.
"I Love you" and "You Gets No Love"
Also includes new orchestral version of Fleetwood Mac classic "Songbird"
and closes with 'He's All Right With Me' by the Mirettes (the Ikettes incognito)
and “The Other Woman”
they sure as Hell are trying their damnedest to manifest and hone in on that exact sound
A chance conversation with Lambchop's Matt Swanson and Tony Crow proved fruitful and they planted the seeds of an idea in Martin's head that "recording in Nashville and working with Mark Nevers was a real possibility"
and "Ende #2
" On the track "Giving In
A Brief Moment in the Sun
"Seventeen" began as a Lucinda Williams-esque dirge
contribute greatly to the arrangement of the material
LA's Sweat are gonna change the landscape of hardcore
