A boxed set of six silver buttons. HM 1901 L&SSix attractive stamped silver buttons decorated with flowers, a rope twist border and pierced through. The hall marks date them to 1901, assayed in Birmingham, maker L&S (Levi & Salaman) In excellent condition and in a cream silk and velvet lined red leather box. Each button measures 3cm in diameter (just under 1. 25 inches) Stock no. LD02

However it is worn- there is some base metal showing on the silver cap and the blade is scratched

A spiral lace bobbin inscribed with sweethearts names- William French and Betsy Uckle and the date 1835

They barrels are made of patinated pewter coloured metal

A wooden thread winder painted with flowers on both sides

In excellent condition- all the pastes are there and are original

A pretty miniature basket of embossed and pierced silver fitted with an emery cushion

The piece is decorated with a central spray of flowers surrounded by arabesques of stylised leaves with all the silver surfaces being worked in some way
