and closes with an authentic leather button
Similar brooches were worn predominantly during the 9th and 10th centuries by Norse and Swedish Viking women
The helmet is a replica of one dating from around 1375
The dress is based on Renaissance originals depicted in paintings

whilst the edges are approximately 23 cm (9 in) long
