gothic single handed sword battle readyThe Battle Ready sword has been designed for reenactment. Swords of this type were employed by knights from the early 12th century onwards. The grip is crafted from hardwood and the leather wrapping features an additional thickening so that it sits well in the hand. The blade is constructed from 5160 carbon steel with a hardness of 50 HRC. The tip is blunted for extra safety.
