RL Winston Bamboo Fly Rod 7'6" 2/2A superb RL Winston San Fransico Era fly rod, 7'6", 2 piece, 2 tip, and with stated weight of 3 5 8 ounces. Mint condition. Serial # 8931 and the patent date lettered on the rod, along with "built for" and the owner's name and the rod specifications. Mint condition, no brassing to the inner tip tops, no hand soiling to the grip. Blonde cane in 3 up node construction wrapped in tan with maroon edges at the keeper, ferrules, and tip top. The varnish is

ventilated grip in fine condition with one thumb indentation

Guide at top of butt is smaller than any on the mid section

Frontispiece of this edition is a four-color print of an oil painting by John Swan entitled "New Moon"

the reel seat has some small foot impressions

No hook digs and the ferrule fits are not too loose

The rod is in excellent+ original condition showing only very minimal signs of use
