Hardy Uniqua Fly Reel 3 3/4"A rare Hardy Salmon Uniqua fly reel, circa 1909 when they were first introduced. 3 3 4" diameter with nice wide 1 5 16" spool width. This reel boasts the right angle pillars that indicate a pre 1910 manufacture date, and it also has the 1905 caliper style check. The outer latch is the oval design with "oil" stamped into the nickel silver. The frame is in excellent condition free of cracks, chips, or other defects and retains most of its leaded finish.

The prior owner "antiqued" the winding plate finish and I consider it a very well done job

German silver faceplate construction as well as the winding arm

The ferrules are size 9/64

Classic cigar grip 5 1/4" in length with moderate soiling thought the cork remains very smooth
