Serial number 061 4652, manufactured as the first rod in 2006. Lawn cast only. Inspection of the inner guides shows no signs of brassing nor is there any on the rest of the hardware. A lot of rods come across my workbench and it is a real pleasure to handle a rod like this with such an outstanding level of craftsmanship,

The spacer has a shallow scratch directly where the top of the reel foot sits

Very nice reel mechanically

the original owner etched his name into the reel foot

and the action is on the quicker side of medium fast

The reason we cannot describe the rod as "mint" is there is a very small chip in the varnish on one of the tips
