Curt Elder Bamboo Rod 8' 3/2 #4This rod was built for rod dealer Charles F. Vaden by rod maker Curt Elder to showcase Curt's work. This is an 8' 3 2 4wt that casts oh so beautifully. The reel seat wood and hardware were crafted by Curt and all of his talents were poured into it, right down to the ivory ferrule plugs. The rod has been lightly fished twice and remains in near mint condition. Price is $995 plus shipping. Cashiers check, postal money order or personal check preferred.

The S-shaped handle has been carefully counter-balanced to prevent the slightest shudder in a reel running at high speed
Includes a replacement ferrule plug provided by Hoagy and made originally by Garrison
with backing
