It's very hard to find Wm Mills reels like this. This highly sought after brass pin caged reel has an early fixed caliper check, which is nicely blued and adequately strong. Correct original and un filed smooth brass foot which has a minor kink but this doesn't hinder its reel seat fit whatsoever. No line grooves. Minor pitting by the rim

and hand-built multiplier salmon fly reel is number 153 of only 500 made worldwide

Brown silk wraps on the guides and cinnamon tipped with black at the ferrules

This rod is in fair original condition and weighs a mere 2
