Ross Heritage Edward Vom Hofe Fly ReelAn extremely scarce Ross "Heritage" Edward Vom Hofe style reel, constructed of german silver and delrin side plates. 2 7 8" diameter with a 1" spool width. LHW retrieve. Near mint condition with some faint marks on the faceplate and some light mounting marks on the foot, but very clean overall. This reel is serial #12 of 27 reels that Ross produced in 1992 (I believe that Len Codella commissioned Ross to make these). The size is roughly equivalent to
remembered in fly tying circles for his notable contributions in the field of insect comparability
