Ari 't Hart F2 Bighorn fly reelFor sale here is a like new Ari 't Hart Bighorn fly reel. Made to accommodate 5 or 6 wt lines plus plenty of backing. Serial number 0008. Currently set up for left hand retrieve.

The cork grip has very slight soiling on the grip

Both reels are in near mint condition with very faint handling marks in the anodizing (these are not scratches that penetrate the anodizing

For sale here we have a spool of vintage Gudebroad (Gude-wind) silk winding thread

but with a highly refined taper that increases line feel

A small 1/2 cork (1/4") knob cushions the bottom of the rod with the six sides of the bamboo exposed and coated with varnish or epoxy

Hardy perfect 2 7/8" Right hand wind "duplicated mark II" and "made for Dame Stoddard Co

Right or left hand retrieve (currently set up for left)

Currently set up for RHW but easily switchable

Rod is in mint condition

Oxidized Super-Z type ferrules (size 13/64)

The rod feels light and very well balanced in the hand considering the length

Each size reel has it's own unique disc size and combination
