gokstad belt fitting brassThe belt fitting is based on a 10th century original excavated in Gokstad, Norway. The fitting is exceptionally detailed. It formed part of a ship burial from which tents, horses, and even three smaller ships were also excavated. This three part belt fitting is crafted from silvered bronze. It is well suited to belts with a width of up to 4 cm. The buckle measures 6 x 4. 5 x 1 cm. The closing measures 4. 5 x 2 x 1. 5 cm and the belt end measures 7 x 4
