Bill Archuletta Fly Reel 5 1/2"A rare Bill Archuletta fly reel, set up for LHW. 5" diameter with a 1 1 4" spool width. Black anodized throughout with the sole exception being a bright spindle cap holding the spool on. Heavily ported throughout, including the spool drum, with the sole exception being the rear faceplate. Good used condition with some modest wear marks on the frame and a little residue on the inside of the spool from old backing. Mechanically perfect and ready to go,

and the ferrule fits are very tight

The reel boasts a very smooth and powerful adjustable drag with audible click both ways

The nickel silver pocket cap is stamped "HLL

300 yards 50#GS with 750gr Skagit / 300 yards 50#GS with 10 Long Bellied Spey line

while still loading easily with only a few feet of line out of the tip

Used but excellent working condition
